The official Auburn fan section at Cal Memorial Stadium is located in Sections P and PP. Visit our purchasing link for the most affordable game tickets out there, while also contributing to our club's scholarship fund for Northern California.
Travel & Accommodations
We recommend flying in a few days early for a long weekend getaway to San Francisco. We hope Auburn fans take time to enjoy the city and see the sights before watching the big game.
Airports
Fans should fly into either Oakland (OAK) or San Francisco (SFO). Typically OAK is a bit easier to get to Berkeley and has fewer delays, but both work!
Auburn Fan Hotel Room Block Discounts
All hotel block booking is now closed
Transportation
When it comes to transportation – parking is at a premium, and we highly recommend you use ride-share (Uber/Lyft) and the many great public transportation options including BART which stops in Downtown Berkeley; a roughly 12min walk from the stadium. Otherwise, we recommend you have a rental car for your visit as it’s nice to have a car if you want to explore different areas within the Bay. It’s much more convenient and allows you to maximize your time.
Week Of
Activities
The NorCal Auburn Club has organized an array of activities to show off the city we call home. Join us for an exclusive Napa wine tasting tour, a 5k fun run at Chrissy Field, a scenic hike through Lands End or bike across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
Check out Sports Basement for a 20% discount for AU fans all week! Find all things sports gear including rentals!

Tailgating
The Auburn Tailgate is limited to 1000 people. The NorCal club’s 200 tickets were offered to block ticket holders and sold out in four days.
There’s not a strong culture for tailgating at Cal, and we recommend folks bar hop around downtown Berkeley just off campus. (See below for bar recommendations) If you do plan your own tailgating event, please be sure to review the cooking permit details below.

Tiger Walk
The Auburn football team will unload the bus at Bancroft Way and walk the Koopman Pathway to enter the stadium.
The walk begins two hours before each game.
Gameday Cooking Permit Maps
If you’re tailgating at Cal, be sure to read this section! This is unique to the Cal bears pre-game experience.
Tailgating/BBQ using an open flame or cooking appliances will be allowed by CFM permit ONLY. Within these areas:
-
Maxwell Field
-
Goldman Plaza
-
Stadium East Rim
-
Clark Kerr Parking Lots – Northwest and Southwest Parking lots
See the below maps for more details on this BBQ exclusion zone. This is something you want to keep in mind if you’re tailgating in these areas – you’ll need to rethink your traditional tailgate menu of burgers and dogs, and potentially opt for more pre-made options or sandwich bars. You can find more info on Cal’s Gameday Cooking Permit Policy linked.

Bar Hopping in Berkeley

FAQ
What’s the deal with the Auburn Tailgate?
The Auburn Alumni Association will be hosting a tailgate. However, it was capped at 1,000 people and is officially sold out. We were slotted a limited number of club tickets, which were offered to our club members on a first-come first-serve basis, which sold out in 4 days. There’s not a strong culture for tailgating at Cal, and we recommend folks bar hop around downtown Berkeley just off campus. If you do plan your own tailgating event, please be sure to review the cooking permit details above.

What about Tigerwalk?
We’re still waiting on more information from the university on Tigerwalk. We’ll notify our club members and update our website as soon as we hear more!

Are there still hotel room blocks?
The majority of our hotel blocks have been booked or have expired. There is still room at the San Francisco Marriott.

Are there still game tickers for sale? What about resell tickets?
Check out this link to purchase game tickets. We’ve been contacted by a few folks about reselling tickets, but our club will have no participation resale.

Can I bring a purse to the game?
Each person can bring in one large clear bag, either a one gallon Ziploc-style bag or the 12'' by 6" by 12" clear bag, plus a small clutch. The larger clear bag must be a standard 12" by 6" by 12" bag made of clear PVC vinyl and is easily searched. The one-gallon Ziploc style bag is readily available, inexpensive and easily searched. The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and is easily searched. For more information on Cal's Clear Bag Policy, check out their website.
