War Eagle! Let me tell you a little about myself. I graduated in1994 and moved around considerably before finally landing in Grass Valley. I wasn't involved with Auburn Clubs until I moved to San Diego in 2014. Down there, I thought what I had gotten involved in was simply an Auburn football watching party club. I didn't discover until later that it was part of the AU Alumni Association.

We're making two big changes to the Sacramento area events, in particular the football watch parties. First and foremost, we will have watch parties for every single game. You no longer have to wonder if this weekend's game is big enough for us to be having a watch party. If there's a game, you know where to go. Secondly, we're going to make the watch parties FUN! We're going to mimic the game experience as much as possible. We provide shakers. We have a sound system to play the marching band. We do the cheers. We also will have official Auburn swag given out through door prizes and raffles. For the Ole Miss game, we're even having a costume contest where the winner gets their bar tab comped by the club! I know it's a bit of a drive but trust me, it's worth it!

We'll have other events as well. We've got a great basketball team and will host watch parties for those too! I've been working with Josh, our club President, on non-sports related events. Want to do something? Let us know and we'll look into organizing it!

So what do we want from you? It's simple. We want you to just come and… BE AUBURN WITH US. That's my mantra. What does “be Auburn with us” mean? It means that if you're reading this, you're part of the Auburn family. Living so far from the rest of our AU family, it's easy to feel cut off from the best university in the nation. Let's come together and rekindle old friendships and make new ones. We're a social club, so let's be social!
