Please forward this email to all alumni, friends, and supporters of Auburn University and the Auburn University Marching Band to help the band win a national competition.
Beginning on Monday, September 29th, the Auburn University Marching Band will be competing against six other collegiate bands in ESPN's online Battle of the Bands. The Auburn Band was selected by ESPN and Paramount pictures as one of seven bands in the country to participate. Each band selected was asked to perform the theme music from the latest Indiana Jones movie, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The videos are posted on ESPN.com for fans to vote for their favorite performance. The winning band will be featured on College Gameday on October 11th, and will receive a $25,000 donation!
The winner is decided by an online vote, so we need as many Auburn fans as possible to go to the site and vote daily in order for us to take home the grand prize. The voting starts Monday the 29th at the following web site:

Welcome to the Northern California Auburn Club Website! We are the official Auburn University Alumni Association Club serving over 1,300 Auburn graduate households and numerous friends of Auburn University living in the Northern California Area. The Northern California Auburn Club is dedicated to fostering the Auburn Spirit.
The Northern California Auburn Club was created in the 1980s for Auburn alumni, friends, and family to share their Auburn spirit here in Northern California. You do not have to be an Auburn alumni to join. If you share our love for Auburn and believe in the Auburn Creed, you are welcome to join us.
Specifically, the Northern California Auburn Club is a chartered Auburn University Alumni Club. The Northern California Auburn Club mission is to:
- Promote ties between friends and Alumni of Auburn University;
- Promote membership in the National Auburn Alumni Association,
- Promote Auburn University as a place of higher education.
The purpose of this website is to provide you with information about our club, club events, general information about Auburn, and links to all your favorite Auburn internet sites.
